Eleanor. When I say that your work is inspiring to me, I don’t just mean that it’s exceptional, which it is. I mean that something in what you do sends a message straight into my own creative individuality. I viscerally understand from inside myself -- but still somehow from you -- that I get to say what I like. Thank you for showing up here how you do. Making this slipstream.

Also: I take this story straight up/fully believe.

Thanks Tina, on both counts. And yes, we get to say what we like. What a relief. What liberty. Xx

It was Carl Sagan who said

“The surface of the Earth is the shore of the cosmic ocean. On this shore, we've learned most of what we know. Recently, we've waded a little way out, maybe ankle-deep, and the water seems inviting. Some part of our being knows this is where we came from. We long to return, and we can, because the cosmos is also within us. We're made of star stuff. We are a way for the cosmos to know itself.”

And......“We inhabit a universe where atoms are made in the centers of stars; where each second a thousand suns are born; where life is sparked by sunlight and lightning in the airs and waters of youthful planets; where the raw material for biological evolution is sometimes made by the explosion of a star halfway across the Milky Way; where a thing as beautiful as a galaxy is formed a hundred billion times - a Cosmos of quasars and quarks, snowflakes and fireflies, where there may be black holes and other universe and extraterrestrial civilizations whose radio messages are at this moment reaching the Earth.

Niola Tesla said 'if you want to find the the secrets of The Universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration'

And....."My brain is only a receiver, in the Universe there is a core from which we obtain knowledge, strength and inspiration. I have not penetrated into the secrets of this core, but I know that it exists."

Whatever it is that's out there it definitely has sound and those lucky enough to be able to receive it and hear it all the time, or sometimes, for sure can and I believe are very fortunate!

I've never had this experience, heard that sound. I think I'm on a different frequency. But how you describe it, in those sentences of your that never seem to be working yet work such wonders, like this:

"The exact same sawing drift of thin, wide lines born of a scale unimaginable, a scraping that had filled my head, a wavering of tones across a central constant like the balance of a tightrope walker, leaning this way, compensating that, going on forever in darkness and chill."

I'll read sentences like that any day.

The music of the spheres...

I'm envious. Although I do have a dream-memory I hang onto from my teen years in which I visited the rings.

What was that visit like Jenn?

The memory is pretty vague, and since the dream occurred when I was assigned to read The Discoverers by Daniel J Boorstin, it had a distinct medieval flavor. I remember Saturn (and also Jupiter) being planets, but also being sentient and interacting--maybe with me, maybe with each other, maybe with some other entities. High school was a long time ago!

I love that. I invite you to write about it. There's a practice called "I remember" taught to me by Andrew Wille who in turn was taught it by Bobbie Louise Hawkins. Begin every sentence with "I remember..." and write whatever comes to mind.

It's a good idea. I'm actually hoping to do a whole dream-memory series sometimes in 2024 after I open up paid subscriptions. (Feels personal. I'm not sure how easy I want the access to be, but maybe I don't want to keep it entirely to myself.) This sounds like a good way to get reflecting in advance.

How wonderful! What a gift to have access to such a "channel." I must look up the Saturn rings recordings, if they are available.

I've taken huge chances in my life by sharing my paranormal experiences. A book, three films, numerous appearances on national television, radio and more in the past. Worse, I appeared with my long time friend Whitley Strieber.

Not much of it served me well as people are afraid. You take them outside their box even for a moment and some will stone you to death. This is why we are slow to evolve. Not enough of us take those chances.

You may not believe me. Since around 1990 I have been hearing something very similar. At times it sounds like a low rumbling didgeridoo. Sometimes it sounds like an idling machine and its rhythms change all the time. As if it's the sound of the machine that generates this reality. Or is it a hologram? Either way I hear it all the time in the quiet. I hear it right now.

I believe you. I know what I heard and you do too. It's unmistakable. Thanks for taking the chance to share this.
