I'm already doing this, so I'm hoping I'll learn how to improve my serialisation of 'The Wrong Man'!

I’ll do my best! Do DM me questions in advance if that’s helpful.

I'm also 14 months into my serial here on Substack...and I can say it's been so rewarding for me. The pace of writing 2000-4000 words per week versus approaching a massive manuscript has been fantastic. Now, I won't say I have a huge following (yet), but mostly because I don't think Substack really cares much about the fiction writers on the platform and give most of their attention to the non-fiction work, but that said, I'm ignoring the metrics (mostly) and getting a huge kick out of the work myself. That is what I'm hanging on to most...that I'm enjoying the writing/creating maybe more than anyone else.

So good to hear, and yes, that’s been my experience. Hugely rewarding & good for my practice. I’d like to see Substack build toward more technical support for fiction - bookmarks & automatic movement between chapters would both be useful.

Like the old days! Dickens and Co...I like the idea of a serialized novel...The New Yorker would be a great spot for this!
