That took me back to my childhood, only the accents have been changed to protect the activists. Women getting out there as the active moral conscience of the world and trying to stop the killing of the life they make. I was born into that world; we need it more now then ever.

Yes, and the blurb filled my heart with pride and rage (the usual mix) so just to have it on my bookshelf is a badge of honour. We will not be shut up.

“Most women were asked to take part by someone they know personally.” Brilliant. Textbook “relational organizing,” a buzzword I keep hearing about our current election. It’s by far the most effective form.
