When a poet licensed my art for his book cover, the very first time anyone had licensed any of my art, I had a relative demand to know how much I was paid because she felt I was making too much of a fuss over it. I just laughed at her. I didn't even respond, it was just so funny to me that she felt entitled to judge the quality of any of my artistic accomplishments.
