This is the best explanation I've heard in response to the "why didn't you do something" question. I'm like that woman and have not experienced this but it makes sense. And is there any way of knowing which way you might go based on pathology so you can alter it?

I think Pete Walker’s book on C-PTSD gives the best roadmap on this.
And your anger. I have never had this happen but I felt it with you to a teensy degree. Oh how it must have been hard.
