Whatever I read of yours - and let me say here and now that no matter how many times I’ve run at Ulysses I’ve never succeeded - but whatever I read of yours is a joy. You know, I do see that it's easy to blame mother's. However, as I see it, in my old fashioned little brain, a mother is meant to protect you. It's one thing to do the harmkng, it's another to look away.
Two years of psychotherapy with a male American psychotherapist is in order. Must be male and American (certainly not English). This is partly anthropological.
It IS easy to blame mothers. And I did. I now ( even though he is still my hero ) have a better understanding of how difficult it was. Different fathers but similar traits 🥰
