Tom - just discovered you via these 8 questions and subscribed.

Could relate on your friend getting 30 views! My essays were just sitting on my computer and although 300 views for my average essay isn’t a lot, it’s definitely more than zero!

Glad you’ve removed the “aspiring” label, you have arrived. See you around stack land.

Tom! Fun to see you here. I'm glad they didn't sell to Elon too!! Sheesh, I hate to even imagine.

I'm very glad you're sharing your work regularly, my writer friend. I love your playful look at yourself and the descriptions and photos of all the amazing places you've been.

Thank you, Eleanor and Tom!

This is a great interview. I have this vision of this big fish who lives in a huge aquarium in London who is magically transformed into an amphibian allowed to periodically escape the aquarium to survive and exist in both the human and much too confining artificial marine worlds. He has been gifted with out of water arms and legs and rides around London and Europe on a Royal Enfield special edition motorcycle. He is a curious fellow but affable as some fish are when surrounding humans are less demanding. Glad you are here on Substack.

I'm a big Jack Reacher fan. Reacher always advises everyone to observe everything around them. Based on what they notice, they can sort out what's going on in any odd circumstance. Also good writers drop excellent clues or questions for a reader as you do with using the word "away." With a name like Fish, where would you need to be away from? Anyway, better to not say much and just read your posts. Thanks for being on Substack.
