I knew about Ros as she is a subscriber of mine but I hadn't known her or much of her work here until this interview. I have now subscribed. It just shows me how many exceptional people are out there and we don't always have the time to get to know them all but they are courageously sharing their gift with the world. Thanks Ros for answering Eleanor's questions and thanks Eleanor for sharing Ros with us.
Drowning in the shallows is such a brilliant description for attempting to keep up on other platforms and your experience of losing your fear of being openly yourself Ros, is echoed by me (and many others too!). Great read, thank you Ros and Eleanor
Great to see Ros featured, thanks Ros and Eleanor. Ros's Substack is one of the first I subscribed to – always found her writing compelling, and she's a very generous reader, too.
Really good interview. Ros. Fascinated to read how your strategy has evolved in step with the kind of words you want to out into the world and the readers you hope to reach.
When I read Ros Barber I clicked the ❤️ before I read the interview because I already knew it was going to be good. And I was right! 😁
You were right!

Thank you, Matthew! That’s lovely of you.
Another great interview. “Hope and courage” — not bad at all!! I think Substack is giving me that as well.
Yes, ditto.

Thank you, Emily!

Nice of you to say so, Wendy - and reader? Just try keeping me away from all the great stuff on Substack… including yours!
Thanks, Ros. You’re so supportive and encouraging.

"The Poetry of Sex" That's gonna sell : )
Rudest poem I ever wrote. It was a dare from another poet.
Never dare a poet : )
Isn’t it? Loved it.
