I'd imagine this is the Substack equivalent of realising you're walking down the street, naked.

I feel bitterly exposed, but also like I've had a ridiculously good therapy session ;)

Thank you for having me in the chair, Eleanor! x

[averts gaze … oops, sorry to catch you at an awkward moment … also, peeking!] … I’ve been wondering when yours would pop up, Luisa. Lovely gentle reflections … your voice coming through beautifully. Creative fires … destruction as a creative force - wonderful. And, probably my favourite piece (tattoos) is right in that spot where we challenge ourselves … I’m not sure I’m there yet, though I may let it peek out of my fiction momentarily. Lovely answers to Eleanor’s excellent questions.

You're a gem Barrie, thank you. Fiction can be our best friend when writing about the hard stuff.

Enjoyed this! It reminds me of the diversity of talent and vision here. Each of us is engaging in ways that feel authentic to us, forming a vast banquet of favorite foods and many I haven’t tried yet.
