The advice here is excellent particularly in how to write one's post as if it were an email or letter. Also how to make the best use of beta readers or anyone who has a suggestion or question that helps with one's writing to improve it or bring it closer to excellence and still providing closer to what a reader seeks without compromising one's voice. Also to not be overly concerned with stats. Stats help indicate when something is doing well or working or when something might not quite be getting through. The key to benefit for all is to strengthen what is working and not necessarily change something or drop it if it isn't. But possibly tweek or subtly revise it order to hold the point or direction or forward motion so a maybe tiny through point emerges so some bit of realization or understanding creeps in that wasn't quite there before. Thanks for this excellent interview.
I really enjoyed the sensible simplicity of your learning … sometimes, all of us writers complicate and overthink things. We all need reminders that it is about the writing first , then community, and the platform(s) way down the list. Thank you.
Thank you, Ingrid, for your insights. I must take note, especially of the mental health part!
Agree with you Ingrid, post and then ghost! Thx for the book rec, will check out.

Another excellent interview. Such a good point about keeping posts at or around the 5 min mark. Attention is so hard to grab … and hold.
Thank you!
