Thanks for sharing excellent tips and for sharing where you draw advice from. I'm a subscriber to Sarah Fay and Claire Venus, but I was unaware of the Sparkle audit. I'm also interested in your writing courses, so I will check it out when I'm on the desktop.

So nice to hear your process, Amanda. Mine is definitely still evolving as I think about how to make time for interviews and series as well as longer form writing for submissions. We’ll see what happens!

I thoroughly enjoyed Amanda's article. Without mindfulness, the writing process would be a whole lot less fun and rewarding.

Thanks Liz. I’m glad you enjoyed it. And I’ve discovered that for me life itself is a whole lot less fun and rewarding without mindfulness!

You're welcome, Amanda. I came late to understanding the importance of mindfulness in life, but I did come around to it!

@Amanda , there’s a subtle beauty in how you integrate mindfulness with the craft, making the act of writing a meditative practice.

Thank you, Eva. That's lovely to hear. After getting my writing all tangled up in external goals for a while, I realised I had to start doing it just for the love of it again and for deeper reasons than getting a publisher.

This is lovely to read, Amanda, and seems to highlight how you can draw people and places and experiences to you when you allow spirit to be your guiding light and trust the process of life. I'm really hoping I will have some time to join some courses now my youngest is going to college. After four children, 26 years of home education and 25 exams my home education journey might be drawing to a close... A new era is dawning <3

A new era beginning for you, Rachel. Will be lovely if you have time to come write with me again now that your home education journey is ending and a new, yet to be discovered one, is starting. Love to you 💙
