Oh, maddening, heartbreaking episode. (I'm catching up ...) I want to shout at Janet, but poor thing has been on the receiving end of enough meanness. I want to coax her. Hope, Janet, hope.

Shepherd's pie and tapioca pudding. Wow, that is just the kind of dinner we used to have when I was a kid.

This superb chapter almost feels like an elegy, with its tone of loss and quiet despair.

Well written and executed in the voice over. Janet's pain and loss is represented in Bridget's departure. Bridget is the symbol for all that Janet's missing and we're getting an even better picture of Ray. Why did she make this sacrifice and choice with Ray?
