Very looking forward to reading. Got a couple of friends who were at Greenham so will be passing it on. Your publisher sounds amazing. Best of luck with everything.

@Alisa Kennedy Jones is one of the seven wonders of the world. And thank you for support and please thank your Greenham friends for theirs.

Just Ikea , where they make the meatballs out of those unfortunates that don't fine the way out , is enough to send me over any edge YOU ARE DOING VERY WELL !!

A bounty of good problems. You've done this before. I'm excited for you.

I have always compared that period before a book comes out to walking down the street stark naked. Indeed, I have said that I would prefer to walk down the street stark naked.

Good luck.

It will pass.

Thank goodness for young people and their tech solutions!

I’m sorry you are stressed. While, yes, I would love to be awaiting a release of my book, I am quite certain I would be in the same amount of stress you are in if I were in your shoes.

Sending love and can’t wait for what will surely be your smashing success. :)

Love Coal Drops Yard! We walked there along the canals, 8 miles. Wonderful part of London. The starchitect Zaha Hadid has an office in that very building (bottom photo). So happy for you and love the reframe. Stress is fizzy excitement. See you on May Day. 🔥

Please don’t be stressed, Eleanor.

All will be well.

All will be well.

All manner of things will be well.

I am very much looking forward to your book arriving into my hands.

I’m sure Kit’s writing course will be brilliant.

We have a creative friend, Toria, a textile artist in Ruthin North Wales, is a trustee of the Gladstone Library. I do rather love the notion of retreating there for a few days to write (and read/research). We used to routinely go the The Good Life festivals held in the grounds of Hawarden, all part of the creative Gladstone family ‘offer’. The farm shop is well worth a dive into. Have fun.

Yes, I’d I’m going to do some exploring before class starts this morning…

Enjoy Gladstone Library. I love it there.

And love what you said about Pickles. I have a small chug with a beautiful silken head and a soft bitey mouth - which she uses to show both love and fear with.

Eleanor Anstruther's avatar

Pickles came by way of a dog walk app that my friend is on. Modern times…

Diane's avatar

As in a dog walk app to find dogs to walk or places to walk your dog or to meet up with people to dogs together? 😂

Eleanor Anstruther's avatar

It’s an app that puts ‘wants to walk a dog’ together with ‘have a dog that wants walking’. clever, huh?

now that is cool. I like that

Oooooffff, this made me feel quite stressed just reading it Eleanor. All sounds so exciting though. I'm so envious, she says, sitting here on her very quiet mountain. Especially on the Kit course. Being taught as a teacher is super lush! Take care, breath but most of all have fun! 🫠

It feels super lush to be here.
