How do I know when doubt is valid, when it is the work’s doubt or when it’s mine as the artist? I’m working on something and an idea is in motion but I don’t know if it works, I don’t know if, by carrying through this idea, by pursuing it I’m just avoiding the issue of doing the hard stuff, sticking with the original line.
