Oh this hits hard this week. I felt a flare of rage at women not being “allowed” to be on the deed. But I also see how far we’ve come. A glimmer of light in this darkness. Thank you for telling this story. So needed. 🤍🕊️

“Man’s got to live.” Screwy eyes in the mirror. He swung into a roundabout narrowly missing another car. “Trouble with you lot is you think you understand the world. You want to get home where you belong. Leave it to the men.” Not only is the writing in this chapter especially wonderful, it also feels weirdly topical.
